OVERVIEW
The Problem:
Tier-1 automotive supplier that used a gas-fired furnace for chassis rail heat treatment was evaluating a more energy-efficient alternative. Induction heating offers precise, controllable temperatures with significantly lower energy consumption, but the technology is less familiar to non-technical audiences.
The Build:
Modeled entirely from real equipment footage, the animation follows a single chassis rail as it passes through the induction heating station. Copper coil inductors heat the rail as it travels through, followed by a water spray quench at the exit. Single continuous camera shot tracking the rail through the full cycle.
The Result:
A clear, technically accurate visualization of the proposed system that could be used internally or presented to clients as part of a capabilities discussion.
