OVERVIEW
The Problem:
A Tier-1 automotive supplier needed to communicate their chassis rail heat treatment capability to potential clients. The process runs through three stages inside large industrial equipment: austenitizing, quenching, and tempering. Completely invisible from the outside once the line is running. Static photography couldn't show it, and bringing clients to the plant floor isn't always practical.
The Solution:
I visited their facility, photographed the furnace line on-site, and built the entire production environment in 3D from those references. The only client-supplied geometry was the chassis rail itself. The animation follows the rail through the complete thermal cycle, showing each stage clearly without referencing any proprietary process data.
The Result:
A capabilities asset their commercial team could use in client presentations to demonstrate the infrastructure and process quality behind every rail they produce, without requiring a plant visit.
